It takes about 2 seconds to swipe the QR code on your smartphone screen and–BAM!–you’re done. (Sorry for channeling Emeril but, hey, this is exciting stuff!) As an added bonus, the app uses an incentive program that allows you to earn $5, $10, or $20 credit toward purchases from participating businesses whenever you pay with LevelUp–the more you spend, the more you earn.
IS IT SAFE?
Remember that time you went to Mexico for Spring break and your wallet was stolen at Señor Taco’s? Yeah, well that won’t happen here. LevelUp uses top-notch security to protect your information; the app even offers the option of setting a 4-digit PIN lock to deter unauthorized use. Think about it–paying with LevelUp is much safer than letting the 16-year old cashier with the spike through her bottom lip swipe your credit card.
