What’s Happening: Midtown Village Fall Festival is Saturday

It’s hard to believe that this Saturday is the first day of October (already).  October is, hands down, my favorite month–what with Halloween and all (don’t judge) and I’ve got another event to add to the reason why I heart October.  Midtown Village–you know the area that Barbuzzo chef/owner Marcie Turney and partner Valerie Safran pretty much single-handedly revitalized–is hosting a 5-block fall festival/block party this Saturday.

Sure, I love the fact that it’s family-friendly and there’s going to be an entire area for kiddies…yadda, yadda, yadda…but I’m really excited to sample food from the great Midtown Village restaurants.  In case you live under a rock and didn’t know, there’s some pretty awesome eats in the Village (yeah, I can call it that–me and MV are cool like that).  As if stuffing your face isn’t enough, merchants will take to the sidewalks with great discounts on their merchandise and, like any hippie-packed festival, there will be artisans and crafters with plenty of handmade goodies.

Are you salivating yet?  Already marking your calendar?  Good.  Here are the deets (yup, I’ve been spending way too much time in the city):

Unusual Museums Around the World
