    This is great… except I still can’t figure out how to pronounce pho, even with this post. I, for one, would still order something, even if I can’t pronounce it. I just point, sound it out and ask for help. The best foods are the ones we can’t pronounce!

    For my family you’d have to add the following to the list: salmon, Perrier and filet mignon. What can I say? I have some country relatives. 🙂

      Don’t tell me about country relatives…lol. My parents were born in rural Georgia so you know there are plenty of mispronunciations that get thrown around! (I hate when people pronounce the ‘l’ in salmon…yikes.)
